Mark began working at Travel Adventures in 1994. He received a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Eastern Michigan University, and then a Master of Arts in Education from Northern Michigan University. During his time at Travel Adventures, he has also earned a Certified Tour Professional Certificate from the National Tour Association.

Mark was Director of Bands and Orchestras for 13 years in the N.I.C.E. Community School District and Pontiac School District. In addition, he taught vocal music at K-5 levels; directed an adult choir for 10 years; worked as a Clinician/Adjudicator at many festivals; and has performed professionally. He also founded Oakland Hills Music Camp, a residential summer music camp for Middle and High School students. Mark traveled throughout U.S. with his school groups and was a customer of Travel Adventures before he started specializing in tours for Music Groups.

Mark enjoys coaching and playing softball in the summer. He is married (to a teacher!) and is the proud father of three adult children.
