Frank Lloyd Wright Home/ Studio

This extraordinary Home and Studio complex served as Wright's architectural laboratory from 1889 to 1909, the years that launched his career. Here he conceived the Prairie style of architecture, testing ideas that were employed in many of the surrounding homes he designed for clients. Now open to the public as a historic house museum, the building has been restored to its 1909 appearance, the last year Wright lived and worked on the property.
