Fiesta Mexicana

Your evening in Chicago will be a celebration of Spanish culture at Fiesta Mexicana. The party starts with a delicious Latin-style dinner with a choice of three entrees. Following the meal is an exciting presentation of folkloric and modern Latin dance. And then the real party begins with dancing and music! Students and adults will dance with instructors to live Latin music performed by an outstanding band from Chile. Contests, games and a surprise visitor all combine to make this an unforgettable evening.


Now in its 6th year, Fiesta Mexicana includes overnight lodging and two meals including the Fiesta Mexican dinner for all of the participants, in addition to:

• Visiting the largest Dia de los Muertos display in the United States
• Visiting the Mexican specialty stores in the Pilsen and Little Village areas. These may include a bakery, furniture store, pinata/candy store, and a discount mall. A terrific opportunity for students to practice their language skills
• Participating in a one-hour Latin dance lesson so you are ready for the evening Fiesta
• Shopping at the Christkindlmarket Chicago for handmade gifts
• Taking pictures of the International Christmas Tree exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry

*Optional evening activities, such as the Sears Tower Skydeck, theater and ice skating.
  Groups will also tour other Chicago area attractions as time allows!
