Travel Adventures has established a $20,000 award fund to support deserving students who are unable to afford the full cost of their group’s educational travel. As a
student travel provider staffed by former educators we know that travel outside of the classroom makes a difference in the lives of young people. By providing financial support we hope to encourage a young person who would otherwise be unable to travel, to participate in their school trip.
Nomination and Eligibility Rules:
Teachers and trip sponsors may nominate a student for the Travel Adventures Scholarship, provided they meet the following criteria:
- The applicant must be registered for his/her school trip and be receiving financial assistance from at least one other source (e.g. a fund raising project, class or club scholarship, essay contest winner, etc.)
- The applicant would not be able to afford the balance of his/her trip payment without additional financial assistance.
- The applicant is in good academic standing with his/her school (2.5 or higher GPA)
Scholarships are only available on trips that include overnight lodging. The scholarship award is $100 on trips that cost less than or equal to $399 per person, and $200 on trips of $400 or more per person. There is a limit of one scholarship per school. Please complete the
