National Performing Arts Festival - Bahamas Cruise

Combine the beauty of the islands and crystal blue sea with an outstanding theater festival and learning experience! Take your drama troupe on the trip of a lifetime with the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. The tour departs from Port Canaveral, FL. and sails to Nassau, Bahamas and CoCo Cay, before returning to port three days later.

FESTIVAL INCLUSIONS:

• Fabulous meals while sailing the seas
• A 10-minute minimum to 20-minute maximum performance of selections from a theater production of your choice. The performance will be critiqued by a professional adjudicator. Ratings are based on National Standards.
• Solo & Duo Competition. Each competitor performs a 5-minute musical or dramatic selection for a professional adjudicator.  Following the performance, competitors receive from the adjudicator.
• Private Feedback Clinics led by a top theater professional
• Specialized Acting Workshops designed to give the students in-depth instruction in a variety of subject matter needed by all performing groups.

AWARDS: 

• Adjudication and ratings from a panel of experts based on National Standards
• A Commemorative Award will be given to all participating groups at a special Awards Ceremony.
• A Commemorative Award will be given to solo and duo participants.
• Additional awards will be presented to groups and individuals for outstanding performances.
• Winners of the Showcase Award will have the unique opportunity to perform for the ships passengers during the cruise.
