Marine Science Center at Northeastern University

Tide Pool | Educational Travel from Travel Adventures for student travel tours

North Eastern University offers a hands-on oceanography cruise, as well as a tide pool walk and center tour. K-12 students are able to explore and survey classic New England rocky intertidal habitats located just meters outside lab facilities. Extended investigations of intertidal habitats and organisms are also available using lab facilities.

Take a three-hour cruise where you can watch and help instructors demonstrate the use of various oceanographic tools and methods used to conduct research. You will have the opportunity to take water quality measurements and see a live viewing of the ocean floor!
