Clearwater Marine Aquarium

Clearwater Marine Aquarium is an internationally respected center for animal care, public education and marine research. In addition to studying the creatures of the sea on display, student groups can also take specialized tours:

Behind the Scenes Tour takes visitors through areas that the general public does not get to see. Your students will be amazed as they observe animal food preparation, a veterinary lab, a surgical suite, and the animal rehabilitation areas, including a marine animal touch tank.

Sea Life Safari Tour is one of the most popular things to do at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. This two-hour trip goes into the beautiful intercoastal waters where dolphins, sea birds and other marine life are abundant. Your students will witness data collection in action as sea critters are pulled from their environment by nets and then released back to the waters.
