Travel Adventures, Inc. offers two levels of Cancellation Protection as part of the Students Safe & Secure™ program.

Travel Adventures is providing additional peace of mind during these uncertain economic times for our valued customers. We’ve slashed the cost of Cancellation Protection Elite in half to ensure that everyone can take advantage of this enhanced benefit.

Travel Adventures will refund the traveler or the school, whichever is applicable, the full amount the individual has paid, less the Cancellation Protection Elite fee (paid at the time of enrollment) and the non-refundable registration fee:

  • Change in family income or job status
  • Mandated school testing
  • Special athletic or educational competition

If the entire trip should cancel up to 30 days after the first invoice due date, the cost of Cancellation Protection Elite will be refunded (Otherwise non-refundable under any circumstance)

Cancellation Protection Standard – Included

Travel Adventures will refund the traveler or school, whichever is applicable, the full amount the individual has paid, less the non-refundable registration fee and an airline ticket (if applicable) based on the following:

If the traveler cancels due to:
  • Transferring out of the class traveling or to another school prior to trip departure
  • Accidental bodily injury or sickness (where travel would aggravate such condition)
  • Serious illness or the death of an immediate family member within 7 days of departure

If you or an immediate family member becomes seriously ill, or there is a death of an immediate family member during the trip, any missed travel arrangements which were part of the tour, will be refunded. (Eligible participants are those individuals included in your final rooming list.)


To cancel and receive a refund, you must notify Travel Adventures, Inc directly, either by mail at 1175 S. Lapeer Road, Lapeer, Michigan 48446, by FAX at 810-664-1913 or by calling 800-664-6921. All written or faxed requests must include the name of the school as well as the participant’s name and participant number, if applicable. To receive a refund under the cancellation Protection Standard program appropriate documentation must be received by our office within 14 days of cancellation.
